About
Tanya Kravets is another enthusiastic preschool alumni parent who is now part of our teaching team. After relocating from Israel to the US with her family, she volunteered at the Preschool for several years while her three children attended the program. We are so thrilled to have Tanya now teaching in the afternoon extended-day program. Tanya says, “My favorite activity with children is reading because it gives us knowledge and helps kids develop imagination and language skills.”
Tanya was in the tech industry for more than a decade, primarily working as an integration engineer and project manager. She has a B.A. in Business Management and Finance and recently completed a Child Growth and Development course from American Jewish University.
One of Tanya’s favorite picture books is Magic Hat by Israeli poet Leah Goldberg. She says, “This book is about a girl who dreams of a hat that fulfills her every wish—with the Magic Hat you can grow and thrive, sail to distant lands, and tell miracle stories. This book encourages imagination and creativity through kids’ own stories.”
