Alix Hietala

Alix Hietala comes to us with 8 years of teaching experience, most recently as a Pre-K teacher for the last 3 years in Central Massachusetts. She is originally from Tolland, CT and has a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Clark University. In her free time, she loves reading, painting, and dancing. She has a 12-year-old tabby cat named Harry, who has been her very best friend for these last 12 years. Her favorite Pre-K activities are art, sensory, science, and reading. Alix feels it is important that every child is given the opportunity to feel safe, confident, and prepared for the world. In her role as the Pilonim teacher, she will bring patience, understanding, enthusiasm, and consistency for every child! She is beyond excited to join the Billy Dalwin Preschool team and looks forward to an amazing year!
